Understanding the Front Panel Display
As shown in
figure 5
, to reflect the operating condition of the drive, the
LTO-4 Half-Height Tape Drive front panel display has:
• A seven-segment LED display that provides a single character code
for status, diagnostic, and maintenance functions
• An LED dot display that augments the seven-segment LED
• A two-color (amber/green) status LED
The on/steady, on/flashing, or off condition of the front panel LEDs
indicate the various drive conditions as shown in
table 2
.
