Connecting the Power Cable and Checking
Resistance Value
CAUTIONS
- Before measuring the resistance value, make sure that the power plug is
unplugged from the outlet.
- If the machine is to be installed in the patient environment, see "APPENDIX 1.
ADDITIONAL PROTECTIVE GROUNDING."

- If the power cable is to be locally prepared, be sure to use a power cable that
complies with the requirements stated below.
<For the U.S. and Canada>
UL-listed detachable power cable
Hospital Grade plug
Cable wire diameter : 16 AWG or larger, 3-conductor
Rated voltage: 125 VAC or higher
Cable type: SJT
Cable length: 3 m or shorter
<For Europe>
Cable certified by a country in which the machine is to be installed
Cable wire diameter: 1.0 mm2 or larger, 3-conductor
Rated voltage: 250 VAC or higher
Cable type: H05VV-F
Cable length: 3 m or shorter

Connect the power cable to the machine, and place the breaker switch
in the ON position.
2.
Measure the resistance value of the power cable.
