and

spray-

ing.

To

clean

out

any

impurities

that

may

have

accumulated

duri
ng
assembly

or
shipping,

we
recommend

spraying

a

small

quantity

of
clean

pa

int
thinner

through

the

gun.

Before

tackling

any

serious

spraying,

experime

nt
with

the

Gun

on
a

scrap

piece

of
wood

until

you

become

familiar

with

all

the
controls.

the

lightly

. Overturning

could

cause

the

internal

Manifold

rot
ate

the

turbine.

means

of
controlling

the

air
flow
through

Gun.

It

offers

you

fingertip

control

when

you

need

it

reduce

bounceback

and

overspray

.

It

is

import

ant

to
remember

that

the
Air
Control

V

alve

- is

the

‘

last in the chain

’ of

operations

af

ter

Thinning

the

paint

Adjusting

the

shape

and

size

of
the

spray

pattern

Adjusting

the

flow

of
paint
through

the

Gun.

After

performing

these

operations,

you

should

spray

a

few

passe

s

onto

a

scrap

piece

of
plywood

or
cardboard.

This

will

allow

you

to
det
ermine

if

the

paint
levels

nicely
.

Once

the

Gun

is

producing

a

perfect

finish

with

full
air

,

you

may

then

experiment

with

turning

the

air
down

until

bounceback

is

reduced

to
a

mininum.

However

,

if

orange-peel

result

s,

you

have

no
opti
on
but

to
turn

the

air
up
again

a

slight

amount.

prevent

hole

placed

directly

below

the

the

rear

of
the

Cup.

The

turned

to

spraying

but

never

turned
