How do I train?
After the computer has switched on (short illumination of all display segments and approx. 1-second beep
and display of the wheel diameter) you must select a user identification by pressing "UP" and "DOWN",
e.g. "U1" for "User 1" (maximum 4 users, U1 to U4). Please confirm the selection with "MODE".
Note: If this entry is not possible after switching on the computer, you can access this dialog by means of
a reset. Now use the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons and the "MODE" button to enter the personal data for:
1) „SEX“ (male or female),
2) „AGE“ (in years),
3) „HEIGHT“ (body height in cm) and
4) „WEIGHT“ (weight in kg).
After this setting, you will automatically be in standby mode. The computer is now ready to select a training
mode. You can choose between these modes with the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons:
1. Manual
2. Program
3. User-definable program
4. Heartrate controlled program (HRC)
5. Wattcontrolled program (Watt constant)
Each training mode also requires different input - the computer guides you through these input options.
You can also set individual target values for training time, calories, distance or heart rate. All entries are
made with the UP/DOWN and MODE buttons for confirmation. In watt-controlled mode, however, only the
wattage can be entered (10-350 watts). The computer automatically regulates the training intensity based
on this input. With the "HRC" mode you can do an automatically controlled training depending on your
pulse rate (correct age input required!). After selecting "Target H.R.". (or "H.R.C.") you can then choose
between 55%, 75% ,90% and input of the target heart rate (Target H.R.).
Press "STOP/START" after each entry to begin exercising.
Bodyfat measurement
With the help of body fat measurement you can determine your body fat percentage (the measurement
results are not medically accurate) and thus control your training success.
The correct position for body fat measurement:
a) Sit on the device with your arms in front of you at an angle of about 75°. Keep your elbows straight
and move as little as possible.
b) Hold the sensors with your fingers as completely as possible so that there is sufficient contact with the
electrodes.
Start the measurement:
A fat measurement is only possible after finishing a workout or before starting a workout (stop mode).
You start the measurement by pressing the Body Fat button. Now pull your hands back onto the sensors
and keep them there (embrace them as completely as possible). Please do not move during the
measurement, which lasts about 8 seconds.
