7.2.- HDD CONTROL
In this menu you can fi nd the options “HDD stand-by timeout”,
“Jump Step Value” and “Format HDD” (OSD 103).
7.2.1. HDD STAND-BY TIMEOUT
It is used to settle the time in minutes after which the hard disk
will be turned into stand-by mode. The options are: Deactivated
(will never be in Stand-by), 5, 15 or 60 minutes.
7.2.2. JUMP STEP VALUE
With this option you can settle the jump marks forward and
reward.
On a current reproduction, press the keys [

] or [

] to
make a jump of a certain period of time on the reproduction.
This period is confi gurable and the jumps can be: 1, 3, 5, 10
and 15 minutes.
If they are confi gured every 10 minutes, each time that you
press this key, it will jump automatically 10 minutes forward/
reward on the reproduction.
7.2.3. FORMAT HDD
This option will format the hard disk, erasing it completely.
When you select this option, a window appears and asks for a
password to format the hard disk. If it has not been modifi ed, it
is by default the code “0000”.
Once this code is given, the hard disk will be formatted and you
will lose all the saved recordings.
Note:
This process is irreversible. Once you have selected this
option and you have given the password, the data will be lost.
7.3.- HDD INFORMATION
In the HDD information submenu you can see the capacity
of the hard disk. You also see the free space available (OSD
104).
