5.2  The Target Screen

The Target screen is used to enter the patient’s threshold and uncomfortable levels, select a fitting 
rule, and create a target. You can modify most real-ear targets in this screen to fit the specific needs 
of your client. (DSL targets cannot be modified.)

5.2.1  Viewing the target screen

See Figure 5.2.1 for an example of the target screen. If the target screen is entered while the real-
ear screen is in SPL display mode (see Section 5.4), you will not see the insertion gain graph on the 
left side of the display.
