BASIC OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
“Information” key
Press the
key
once
to access a series of information:
In automatic mode
, starting from an active program:
the first column represents the metres of film used and the pallets
produced with the program shown (e.g. P13).
Scroll with the
“+” or ”-“ keys to display the rest of the programs;
the second column represents the total metres of film used and the
total pallets produced by the wrapping machine.
In manual mode
:
the first column represents the metres of film used from the
beginning of the activity in manual mode (the first) and the total
metres of film used by the wrapping machine (second).

times to access the
MAINTENANCE COUNTER:

The display will show the turntable’s number of rpms from the last
maintenance operation or from the first installation (e.g. 37500) and the rest
of the turntable’s rpms before the next maintenance operation (e.g. 82500)
(Fig.1)
.
A “Maintenance counter” number equal to 120000 (in the “Menu 1 hidden
parameters” Parameter 21) will be entered in the wrapping machine by
default.
Upon reaching this value, when the machine is started the maintenance
symbol
(Fig.2)
will be displayed and the buzzer will sound 3 beeps.
After 5 seconds the warning message will disappear and it will all be
repeated at subsequent start-
up or upon subsequently pressing “start”.
To silence the beeps, set the Number Buzzer Beeps at
0 (in the “Menu 1
hidden parameters” Parameter 9).
CONTACT THE FROMM ASSISTANCE SERVICE FOR MAINTENANCE
OPERATIONS.
Maintenance operations must be performed by FROMM trained personnel.
The timer must be reset at ZERO and the alarm will disappear from the
control panel.
To reset the timer, enter the “Menu 1 hidden parameters” Parameter 4 and
select YES.
