2.3  Electrical connections

The  electrical  connection  must  be  carried  out  by  recognised  and  authorised

technicians in accordance with current regulations.

Make sure that the characteristics of the electrical power supply comply with

those indicated on the data label of the appliance.

It is mandatory to connect the equipment to an efficient grounding line.

The  appliance  is  supplied  with  motor  and  pump  power  cables,  which  must  be  connected  to  the  electrical
mains, referring to the wiring diagrams in Chapter 5.2. The use of a humidistat or thermostat is recommended
to control the automatic start and stop of the machine depending on the humidity or ambient temperature;
alternatively, an ON/OFF switch can be used to manually start and stop the machine.

(Fig. 2.4.1) :

Water inlet connection 1/2" M for a hose with threaded connection

Quick-connect drainage duct with cap for connection of a Ø 3/8" hose

A specific accessory (Fig. 2.4.1) is available for the quick connection or through a hose connector to

the above mentioned fitting.

N.B.: In order to prevent the float valve assembly from accidentally rotating while the supply pipe is
connected (or disconnected), hold the external fixing nut in place using a hexagonal wrench or other
suitable tool (Fig. 2.4.1).

                                         Fig. 2.4.1                                                                      Fig. 2.4.2

To arrange for

periodic bleed-off

 of water from the tank:

a)  remove the drain plug by pushing up the stop ring. The operation can be made easier using a hex 10

wrench.

b)  connect a flexible pipe to the drain duct, directly or by means of a hose connection (see Fig. 2.4.2)

providing an appropriate cut-off device (e.g. tap, timed solenoid valve, etc.) which must be normally
closed during operation.
