The UCP humidifier is equipped with a high speed rotating disc. Depending on the type of
installation, different types of protection guards are required (Fig. 2.2.2):
•
installation
inside ducts
or air handling units
not accessible from outside:
no protection
guard required

•
installation in a room at a
height > 2.5 m
from the floor: mount the wide pitch
protection grid (30
mm),
part no. 1801031 available as an accessory. Fix the grille to the body of the appliance using 3
screws 4.2x9.5 part no. 6002004.
•
installation in a room at a
height < 2.5 m
from the floor: fit the fine pitch
protection grid (10 mm)
part
no. 1801030 available as an accessory. Fix the grid to the body of the appliance using 3 screws
4.2x9.5 part no. 6002004.

N.B. : In any case the safety distances from moving parts prescribed by the UNI EN ISO 13857:2008
standard must be respected. Do not remove the protection guards.
