This setting is used to determine whether a short tap or a long press ion REVEAL is required to enter Axe-Fx II LOOPER
CONTROL MODE (see p.77). If looper control is set to “SHORT,” the long press enters REVEAL MODE, and vice versa.

Sysex Dump and Load
is used to transmit a SysEx dump containing all of the user settings
WARNING: SysEx Receive is DESTRUCTIVE and cannot be undone!
It is strongly recommended that you BACK UP user data prior to using this function.
For DUMP operations:
1.
Tap the
INCR
or
DECR
footswitch to select DUMP!
2.
Press
ENTER
and the dump will be executed.
3.
The display will update to indicate what is being sent.
4.
When the dump is complete, the display will return to the starting screen shown above.
For LOAD operations:
1.
Tap the
INCR
or
DECR
footswitch to select LOAD!
2.
Press
ENTER
. The display will change to “Waiting to Load...”
3.
Send a valid MFC-101 SysEx dump file to the MIDI IN port of the unit.
4.
The display will update to indicate what is being received.
5.
If the MFC-101 detects an error while loading data it will display an error message. In the event that an
error does occur please try to LOAD again. If the error persists it is possible that the dump file is incorrect or
corrupt.
6.
If the LOAD operation completes without errors the display will return to the starting screen shown above
with LOAD! Selected.
While this page is displayed, the MFC-101 can be compelled via MIDI System Exclusive message to perform a dump. The data
bytes for this message are:
F0 00 00 7D 02 60
NOTE:
Due to increased CPU activity during dump or receive, it is normal for LED blinking to slow or even stop.
