Hull support at the stern is essential due to the weight of the
engine(s) and running gear.
Incorrect hull support can have serious negative effects
on the running surface of the boat by introducing either
hook or rocker; damage to the strakes, steps or pad
areas; or in extreme instances can cause severe struc-
tural damage to the hull both externally and internally.
