SETTING THE OPERATING MODE
In order to use your external energy source correctly and to prevent damage, the
correct mode must be selected via the user interface of the water heater. This must
be done, if possible, before the battery cable is attached. In case the user interface is
off due to an extended period of power unavailability to the water heater, the correct
mode must be set as soon as the external power source is connected.
IMPORTANT!
If the boiler is to be operated with a battery management system (mode
4), it may not be possible to make settings immediately after connection because the
display is off. In this case, the setting of the correct operating mode must be made the
first time power is supplied to the boiler from the battery management system.
To change the mode of operation, briefly press the -button to navigate through the
menu until you reach a page with the title "CHANGE SYSTEM MODE". The mode
currently active is displayed underneath, factory default is "1: PV-HOME".
By pressing the -button briefly, you can switch to a different mode. The selected
mode becomes active when you proceed to the next menu page by pressing the -
button, or when the water temperature is displayed again after 30 seconds without
pressing a button.
IMPORTANT!
If you accidentally change your selected mode in the "CHANGE SYSTEM
MODE" menu, simply press the -button repeatedly until your previous or desired
mode appears.
