Note: Do not use any sharp tools. The belt surface must remain a 
blue colour.

Reassemble in reverse order. When putting the belt back, make sure it is 
correctly located in the centre of the guiding rollers.

5.1.3

Cleaning / Replacement of Belt Brush

A couple of times per year the belt brush shall be taken out for inspection and 
cleaning. The brush is a consumable wear part. It must be replaced when worn. The 
time between replacements depends on the amount of samples and the cleanness of 
the samples. When cleaning/replacing the belt brush, follow the steps below:

1.

Remove conveyor belt cover.

2.

Remove the thumb screws and slide out the brush.

Inspect the brush and if necessary clean it by soaking the brush in water with a 
mild detergent. Leave the brush in the liquid for half an hour and rinse it with 
pure water and let it dry. If the brush still is dirty replace with a new belt brush.

4.

Reassemble brush and conveyor belt cover.
