Connect the wires from the Lamp Base with the 
wires in the lower part of the Motor Assembly using 
the pre-installed electric connexions.  White with 
White, Black with Black.

Align the window in the underside of the Motor 
Assembly with the protrusion in the back of the 
Lamp Base.  Push the Lamp Base up making sure 
they fit together.  Replace the 3 screws you 
removed.  Tighten them.

Lift the Lamp Shade and push it gently into the 
Lamp Base.
Turn clockwise to lock in place.
DO NOT overtighten as this may crack the Shade.

Remove the 3 screws in the underside of the Motor Assembly.

Installing the Blades for Down Rod and Flush Mount

Installing the Light

Take 2 Blade Screws from Pack of Blade Screws (9) and make sure that 
the spring washer and the flat washer are in place with the flat washer 
towards the threads of the screw.

Align the window on the lower part of the Motor Assembly with 2 screw 
holes in the motor. 

Insert the 2 Blade Screws with Blade Washers and tighten them securely 
with a Philips screwdriver.  
Check that the 2 screws are tight before you go to the next step.

Rotate the secure blade until you can align another set of screw holes in 
the motor with the window in the lower part of the Motor Assembly.

HAND TIGHTEN ONLY.  DO NOT USE A POWER TOOL TO TIGHTEN 
BLADE SCREWS.

Repeat the process for the other 2 Blades.

From here on the installation is the same for 

both Down Rod and Flush Mount Installation
