Milling with a Sloped Frame
To make milling easier in all the applications, you can make the frame slope down-
wards by folding in two legs on one side of the frame so that end is resting on the
square bottom of the frame. This then uses gravity as an aid during cuts so that the
user does not have to force the chainsaw through the cut.
• A lot of care needs to be taken when the chainsaw reaches the end of the cut
so that it does not fall off the end of the guide bars. A precautionary measure
can be taken by attaching two G-Clamps to the end of the guide bars so that
they cannot be hit by the chainsaw but will stop the clamps from moving any
further.
