LOCKING AND UNLOCKING
Remote Control
Unlocking the Doors

Press the button to unlock all
doors. One long flash of the
direction indicators confirms that
your vehicle has unlocked.
Note: You can unlock the driver door with
the key. Use the key if the remote control
does not operate.
Note: If you leave your vehicle unattended
for several weeks, the remote control turns
off. Unlocking and starting your vehicle
enables the remote control.
Central Locking

Press the button to lock all
doors. One short flash of the

your vehicle has locked.
Note: You can lock the driver door with the
key. Use the key if the remote control does
not operate.
Note: Do not use the door latch assembly
to attach any accessory, such as handles or
steps, as this can cause damage to your
vehicle.
Double Locking the Doors
WARNING: Do not use double
locking when passengers or animals are
inside your vehicle. The doors cannot be
unlocked or opened from the inside when
double locked.
Double locking is a theft protection feature
that prevents someone from opening the
doors from the inside.

Press the button twice within
three seconds. Three short
flashes of the direction
indicators confirms that your vehicle has
double locked.
If you double lock your vehicle when inside,
switch the ignition on to return the door
locks to a single locked state.

to lock or unlock all the doors
and the liftgate.

Turn the top of the key toward the front of
your vehicle.
Double Locking the Doors
Turn the top of the key toward the front of
your vehicle twice within three seconds.
Unlocking the Doors
Turn the top of the key toward the rear of
your vehicle.
