Installation
1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Connect negative battery cable. With air bag simulators installed at
all deployable devices, perform system operation check. See
SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK
.
Disconnect negative battery cable. Wait at least one minute for back-up power supply to deplete stored
energy.
2. Activate air bag system. See
ACTIVATING SYSTEM
under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG
SYSTEM. Check AIR BAG warning light to ensure system is functioning properly.
PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE
Removal
1. Before proceeding, See

. Disable air bag system. See

under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
2. Working through glove box opening, remove passenger-side air bag module retaining bolts. See
Fig. 9
.
Using appropriate flat-bladed tool, carefully insert tool under right bottom edge of air bag module door.
Lift lower right corner of passenger-side air bag door with tool and separate from retaining clip. Separate
rest of door from retaining clips by lifting door by hand. Remove air bag module through front of
