INSTRUMENT CLUSTER 

Removal & Installation 

1. Before proceeding, See 

AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

 . Disconnect negative battery cable. 

Using Radio Removing Tool (T87P-19061-A), remove audio unit. Lower steering wheel.  

2. Remove 2 instrument cluster finish panel retaining bolts. See 

Fig. 7

 . Pull back and position instrument 

cluster finish panel out of way. Disconnect finish panel connectors. Remove instrument cluster finish 
panel.  

3. Remove 4 instrument cluster retaining bolts. Pull instrument cluster away from instrument panel. On 

modules equipped with automatic transmission, push in on 2 clips and pull out transmission range 
indicator and set aside. Disconnect electrical connectors from rear of instrument cluster and remove 
instrument cluster.  

4. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See 

TORQUE 

SPECIFICATIONS

 . Connect negative battery cable. Check AIR BAG warning light for proper system 

function. See 

SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK
