REPAIR circuit 783 (GY). CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.

 CHECK THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER

 

 

 

 

Connect a jumper wire between GEM C223-14, circuit 783 (GY), and ground. 

 

Does the 4X4 HIGH indicator illuminate?

 

Yes

 

REPLACE the GEM; REFER to 

Section 419-10

. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation. 

 

No

 

CHECK the indicator bulbs. If OK, REPAIR the instrument cluster printed circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the 
system for normal operation.
