Safety Instructions
WARNING Read all safety
warnings and all instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings
and instructions may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions
for future reference.
1) TRAINING
a) Read the instructions carefully.
Become familiar with the controls
and the correct use of the machine
before attempting to operate the
machine.
b) Never allow children or people
unfamiliar with these instructions
to use the machine. Local regula-
tions can restrict the age of the
operator.
c) Keep in mind that the operator or
user is responsible for accidents
or hazards occurring to other peo-
ple or their property.
d) Never operate the machine when
you are tired, ill or under the influ-
ence of alcohol, drugs or medi-
cine.
2) PREPARATION
a) This machine can cause serious
injuries. Read the instructions
carefully for the correct handling,
preparation, maintenance, start-
ing and stopping of the machine.
Become familiar with all controls
and the proper use of the machine.
b) Never operate while people, espe-
cially children, or pets are nearby.
c) Dress properly! Do not wear loose
clothing or jewellery and take care
of long hair, they can be sucked
into the ventilation slot. Use stur-
dy gloves, long trousers, nonskid
footwear and safety glasses.
d) Do not operate the machine on
a paved or gravel surface, where
ejected material could cause in-
jury.
3) OPERATION
a) This machine should not be used
for any other purpose than de-
scribed.
b) While operating, always wear sub-
stantial footwear and long trou-
sers. Do not operate the machine
when barefoot or wearing open
sandals. Wear protective glasses.
c)
Thoroughly inspect the area
where the machine is to be used
and remove all objects which can
be thrown by the machine.
d) Before using the machine and af-
ter any impact, check for signs of
wear or damage and repair as nec-
essary.
e) Never operate the machine with
damaged guards or without the
guards in place.
f) Never allow children or people un-
familiar with the instructions to
use the machine.
g) Stop using the machine while
people, especially children, or
pets are nearby.
h) Only use the machine in daylight
or good artificial light.
i) Stop the machine before cleaning
or when cleaning blockage.
j) Stop the machine before check-
ing, carrying out maintenance or
working on the machine.
k) Stop the machine before adjust-
ing the working position of the
cutting device.
l) Stop the machine before leaving
the machine unattended.
m) Operate the machine in a recom-
mended position and only on a
firm, level surface.
n) While operating the machine, al-
ways ensure that the operating
position is safe and secure. Keep
the balance at all time. Always
be sure of the footing on slopes.
