ProHD DR-HD100 Portable DTE Recorder

USE EXT DR-HD

Use this option when longer recording times are needed. 

USE 

EXT DR-HD

 permits the connecting of two DR-HD100 

together to provide more disk storage for longer recording. 
One unit acts as the master with the other as a slave: the 
master records to itself until full and then continues recording 
on the slave unit.

Identifying Master/Slave Volumes During Record/Playback

When two DR-HD100s are in combined via 

USE EXT DR-HD

 and in 

either 

Record

 or 

Playback

 mode, the volume on the Home screen will 

display 1-xxx when the master unit is recording or playing back and 2-
xx if it is the slave.
