Maintenance and inspection
Keep the applicable regulations for the maintenance, service and control of appertaining
equipment according to directives 1999/92/EG and EN 60079-17.
The units may only be repaired by the manufacturer.
Base module
alpha WSN BM 110, BM 120, BM 130
Regularly mind that the antenna is fixed and that it is adjusted correctly. An improperly
adjusted or not fixed antenna decreases the efficiency of your wireless measurement
system! Also see chapter "Antennas".
Sensor module

Regularly mind that the antenna is fixed and that it is adjusted correctly. An improperly
adjusted or not fixed antenna reduces the efficiency of your wireless measurement

Also pay attention to damages at the housing. A defect at the housing causes an insuf-
ficient protection.
alpha WSN SM 230
Regularly look out for damages of the PCB and / or of single components. Check the
antenna connection as well as the sensor connection. Damages cause a reduction of
the efficiency of your wireless measurement system up to the malfunction of the system.
