The pump starts and stops frequently
• The membrane inside the tank is da-
maged => replace the internal memb-
rane of the tank
• The gas pressure in the expansion
tank is incorrect with respect to the
pressure switch setting => adjust the
gas pressure to approximately the
pump intervention pressure minus
10%.
• Leak from foot valve => clean or repla-
ce the foot valve.
The pump does not stop
• air in suction pipe => bleed the suc-
tion pipe, repeat the "pump priming"
instructions
DISASSEMBLY AND
DISPOSAL
Before any intervention on the
system, disconnect the electrical
mains and wait 2 min, the led
LINE must be OFF. Ensure that the elec-
trical power supply cannot be restored
inadvertently.
• Disconnect the pump electrically from
the system according to safety stan-
dards
• Open the utility point closest to the
pump to discharge system pressure.
• Before disassembly, close the shut-
off valves on the delivery side, and if
present also close the shutoff valve on
the suction side.
Note the position of the filler
hole, which is also used as a
bleed point. Ensure that the liq-
uid on outlet cannot cause damage or
physical injury.
• Loosen the filler cap to reduce the
pressure of the liquid remaining be-
tween the two valves
• Remove the drain cap from the pump
body to completely empty the pump
This product or any part of the latter must
be disposed of in accordance with lo-
cal standards using the public or private
waste collection authorities as required.
