Foul Water Drainage
The valves will:
1. Provide adequate ventilation to prevent the loss of water seals in trapped appliances.
See section 4, 6 and 7 of this document.
2. Prevent foul air from entering the building. See section 7 of this document.
3. Enable access to sanitary pipework for clearing blockages. See section 6.1 of this
document.
4. Contribute to the ventilation of underground drains. See section 6.2 and 6.3 of this
document.
