Move the joystick left/right to enable or disable the
saturation colors.
If

is selected the areas that contain tempera-
tures outside the present level/span settings are
colored with the saturation colors. The saturation
colors contain an ‘overflow’ color and an ‘under-
flow’ color.
There is also a third red saturation color that marks
everything saturated by the detector indicating that
the range should be changed.

Please note the following:

Although the shutter period works independent-
ly of other functions described in this publica-
tion, FLIR Systems recommends that
Short
is
selected when using the camera for detection
of face temperature.

Selecting
Normal
will calibrate the camera at
least every 15th minute, while selecting
Short
will calibrate the camera at least every 3rd
minute.
■
If the shutter is switched off, a symbol (*) will
prefix the result at the time a shutter sequence
should have taken place, thus indicating uncer-
tainty in the measurement result.
