Configuration
This chapter describes how to configure the Saros Dome security camera using the camera’s web
page
.
3.1
System Settings Pages
When a user logs in with expert or admin privileges, the System Settings pages are available. The
pages are described below. A login with expert privileges has access to these Server pages, but will
only see the security settings for their own login.
3.1.1
Network Page
Set the IP address for the camera. Scroll down to see settings for the Domain Name System (DNS)
server. The IP Address mode can be set to DHCP or Static. When set to DHCP, if a DHCP server is not
available on the network, the IP address will default to 192.168.0.250. Refer to
to set the address using DNA.

Once the IP address of the camera is changed, the PC may no longer be on the same network and
therefore may not be able to access the camera until the IP address on the PC is changed also.
