Power on / off instructions
•
Before you ‘power on’ the stabiliser it is crucial to hold your kite vertically (perpendicular) with
the nose of your kite facing the sky. Once you have your kite in this vertical position then click
the stabiliser power button one time (hold it for 1 second) to power on the stabiliser. The LED
indicator lights will blink continuously to confi rm the ‘power on’ mode.
•
To power off the stabiliser, click the power button twice briefl y and the stabiliser will lose all
stability support and will be powered off, the LED indicator lights will be no longer fl ashing or
blinking.
•
When the battery power drops to 50%, the LED indicator light will start to blink faster than
normal, as the battery power drops further, the LED indicator lights blinking will also increase in
speed until the battery power drops to 15%. Please then charge your stabiliser.

Initialisation / Automatic calibration
When there is an extreme change in temperature or movement of the stabiliser, it may affect the
normal operation of the Flexifoil Camera Kite Stabiliser.
At that moment, you may need to recalibrate the stabiliser.
•
Place the Flexifoil Camera Kite Stabiliser on a level and fl at surface with the front of the
stabiliser facing downward.
•
Press the power button to start the motor and the stabiliser attachment arm will start to spin in
both directions.
•
Leave the stabiliser attachment arm spinning until it stops automatically.
•
During the initialisation process, the LED indicator light will blink progressively.
•
After the stabiliser attachment arm stops spinning, the LED light will go off and the auto
calibration process is completed.
•
To start using the stabiliser again, just power on the Flexifoil Camera Kite Stabiliser as
described in the previous section of the manual.

Q. When powered on, the motor keeps spinning?
A. Please attach your stabiliser fi rst to your Camera Kite before you turn on the stabiliser.
Q. The camera is not correctly horizontally positioned?
A. Please go through the initialisation / automatic calibration process of the stabiliser.
