•
Slide the stabiliser attachment arm into the red 90° attachment arm with the camera facing up
and secure the stabiliser to the red 90° attachment arm by tightening the black thumb screw
into the red 90° attachment arm. Ensure that the bottom spine spar of your kite is located in-
between the ridge of the stabiliser to avoid minimal tilting movement of the stabiliser while being
airborne.
•
Pass one of the bottom spine bungees over the front side of the stabiliser and place it in-
between the ridge of the gimbal, this will help to keep the stabiliser in place onto the bottom
spine spar in case of heavy movement due to gusty winds for example.
Camera Kite Deployment
•
Lift and turn around your kite while holding it at the nose on the bottom spine spar, use your
right hand to hold your kite at the lower end of the bottom spine spar, while you bring down
your left hand to the red 90° attachment arm and stabiliser to access the ‘power button’ of the
stabiliser.
•
Before you ‘power on’ the stabiliser it is crucial to hold your kite vertically (perpendicular) with
the nose of your kite facing the sky. Once you have your kite in this vertical position then push
the stabiliser power button one time (hold it for 1 second) to power on the stabiliser. The LED
indicator lights will blink continuously to confi rm the ‘power on’ mode.
