The materials used in manufacture of the appliance that come into contact with body-secretions are
thermoplastic polymers. These polymers have been selected due to their excellent chemical stability
and resistance. The possibility of a chemical interaction, however, cannot be excluded. The following
precautions are therefore recommended:
a) Only use a 250 ml bottle for milk extraction and storage.
b) Always avoid prolonged contact of liquid with bottles or tubes; wash or disinfected immediately
after use.
c) If unexpected situations occur, for example, the accessories crack or become soft, stop operation
immediately and substitute the accessories used. Contact an authorised dealer for service
specifying how suctioning was being performed.

Disposal: In conformity with Directive 2002/96/EC, the symbol shown on the appliance to be
disposed of indicates that this is considered as waste and must therefore undergo “sorted
waste collection". The user will therefore have to take the above waste (or have it taken) to
pre-sorted waste collection centres organised by the local authorities, or else return it to the
dealer at the time of purchasing a new appliance of the same type. The pre-sorted collection of the
waste and subsequent treatment, recovery and disposal operations favour the production of appliances
made from recycled materials and limit negative effects on the environment and on health caused
by any incorrect waste management. The unlawful disposal of the product by the user could result
in administrative fines as provided by article 50 and subsequent modifications of the Italian Legislative
Decree no. 22/1997.

electromagnetic compatibility. However if you suspect that the appliance is interfering with the
operation of your TV, radio or other electrical appliance, try relocating the appliance until the interference
ceases. Alternatively try plugging the appliance into a different power socket.
