5. Sit comfortably holding nebuliser in a vertical position,
bring mask near your face and press button (A1) (FIG. 5);
the nebuliser led (A2) will show a steady green light and
the nebulised medication will start coming out. Breathe
smoothly and deeply. To increase the effect of the therapy,
after inspiration, hold your breath for a second so the drops
of inhaled aerosol are able to deposit along the airways.
In order to obtain full medication consumption, release
button (A1) each time after breathing in. Then slowly
breathe out.
4. Connect the nebuliser to the power mains using the special
power unit as indicated in figure 4. This must be positioned
so that it is not difficult to make the disconnection from the
mains. After using the device unplug it; the socket must be
positioned so that it is not difficult to disconnect from the
mains.
3. Put the respiratory mask back in place (FIG. 3). Make certain
that the adjustment knob is in the desired position; (-) for
treatment of the lower airways, (+) for treatment of the
upper airways.
2. Pour the medication into its container; if the medication
volume is 2 ml, dilution of the medication with saline
solution is recommended to obtain a volume of at least 4
ml. (FIG. 2)
6. Accessories: the unit can be used with a respiratory mask,
mouthpiece or a nasal prong by placing these in their
specific housings. When using a nasal prong inhale deeply
in order to avoid condensation which could lead to an
incorrect nebulisation.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before each use, clean hands thoroughly and clean the device as described in the
section on “CLEANING SANITISATION DISINFECTION”. During use, it is advisable to
protect yourself from any dripping. It is recommended that each person use their
own nebulizer cup and accessories to prevent risk of infection due to contamination.
This device is suitable for the administration of medical substances and not, for
which the administration via aerosol is foreseen; these substances are to be in any
case prescribed by the Doctor. In case of too thick substances, the dilution with a suit-
able physiological solution could be needed, according to the medical prescription.
1. Choose a place to comfortably operate the unit. Remove
the respiratory mask from the unit. (FIG. 1)
