Follow the directions below to remove the natural gas orifice. Apply thread sealant to the LP orifice
(#49 - it has "49" stamped on it) and tighten in place with a 1/2" open end wrench. Replace the
spring. Slide the adjustable shutter back in place.
Push the adjustable shutter to the
left, off the orifice (be careful not
to bend the shutter linkage).
1/2" Wrench
Slide the adjustable shutter
down, away from the orifice.
Remove the spring
Use a 1/2Ó open
end wrench to
unscrew the
orifice.
Apply thread
sealant to the
new orifice
prior to
installation.
