choosing the detergent
Select the right detergent to clean the floor properly as an excessively aggressive one may be
harmful. Use low foam detergent or an anti-foam additive to avoid damaging the vacuum motor. If
these products are not available, pour 50 cc of common wine vinegar in the recovery tank before
washing, to prevent foam from forming.
machine preparation and start-up
Before using the scrubbing machine check:
Turn the main key switch to start the machine
fill with water
press the pedal on the right to move the vehicle forward or backwards depending on the gear
selector position (fig. 6)
stop the engine by turning the key left, to position "2".
ways to use
The washing operation is very delicate as, based on experience, the type of brush to use, the need or
otherwise of a dual washing action, and the good choice of detergent, must be judged correctly. If
the floor is extremely dirty we recommend the dual washing action. In this initial phase the
squeegee is lifted and the brushes are in the work position. A first pass is given to the surface of a
few tens of square metres when the brushes are started. The detergent is left on the floor to dissolve
the dirt, working as solvent until taken up by the second pass. The second washing action takes
place with the brushes lowered and the squeegee touching the floor.
To perform the washing operation, press the switch to lower the brushes and the motors will start
automatically.
The dosage lever for the detergent water must be activated immediately.
If the dual washing action is not performed, lower the squeegee by putting the switch into position 1
(stable). The vacuum motors automatically start when the squeegee lowers and switch-off when it
lifts. Once the washing and drying operation is completed, turn off the water using the lever and
then lift the brushes using the switch. Finally lift the squeegee by putting the switch into position
"0". Please note that the squeegee automatically lifts when reversing.
