3.5 Measures for complying with EMC guidelines
If correctly fitted and if Festo cables are used for all the con-
nections, the controllers of the SEC-ST product family will
comply with the regulations specified in the technical stan-
dards EN 50081-2 (interference emission) and EN 61000-6-2
(resistance to interference).
Interference emission and resistance to interference of a
device always depend on the complete design of the drive,
which consists of the following components:
– the power supply
– the SEC-ST
– the motor
– the electromechanics
– the design and type of wiring
– the higher-order controller.
