12. Place the washer on the piston rod (the washer is not used on cylinders with
through piston rod (S2 / 20)).

Wet the inside of the hex nut or the rear part of the piston rod (in cylinders
with through piston rod (S2 / 20)) with
high-strength
locking agent
(LOCTITE high-strength).
14. Tighten the hex nut on the piston rod or the rear part of the piston rod (in
cylinders with through piston rod (S2 / 20)) with the appropriate tightening
torque (see table).

15. Use the centring tool to align the front cushioning boss with the middle of
the piston rod.
16. Place the washer on the piston rod (the washer is not used on cylinders with
through piston rod (S2 / 20)).

tubular box wrench used is decisive for assembly of the cushion-
