Start RSLogix 500.

Comms
System Comms…
highlight controller in the list and confirm with
OK
4. Reset the PLC memory:
–
Wait until the PLC has completed its test routines.

Set the selector switch to REM i.e. PROG.

Start the programming software.

Select
Comms
System Comms…
highlight controller and click onto
Online
.
–
Once the connection is set up, go to the menu
Comms
and select
Clear
Processor Memory
, then confirm with
OK
.
–
If the COMM 0. LED is goes out, the memory of the PLC is reset and is ready
for the programs to be downloaded
5. Open the project file

in the directory Sources\
PLC\ML 1500 of the CD-ROM provided. (screen shot shows an example)
