Controller: Micrologix (ML) 1500
•
Programming software: RSLogix 500/RSLINXLite
1. Connect the PC and controller using the RS232-programming cable
2. Switch on the power pack
3. Release the EMERGENCY-STOP pushbutton (if available)

The prerequisite to the steps below is a previously effected configuration of the
required online parameters (network node, driver) using RSLINXLite/RSLogix
500!
•
To avoid any conflict with the serial interface, also complete RSLINXLite after
using RSLogix 500!

Wait until the PLC has completed its test routines.

Start RSLINXLite.
Under
Communications
Configure Drivers…
select the setting “RS-232 DF1 devices“ in the list “Available
Driver Types“ and click onto
Add New…
confirm message (“Choose a name…“, Default: AB_DF1-1) with
OK
Auto configure
OK
Close
