1. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.1 Introduction
Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing SUN M20 - M30, a Ferroli two-stage progressive output burner featuring advanced
design, cutting-edge technology, high reliability and quality construction.
SUN M20 - M30 is a gas burner whose compact size and original design make it suitable for use with
the majority of the boilers currently available on the market. The care taken in its design and industrial
production has resulted in a well-balanced product with very low CO and NOx emissions and a very
quiet flame.
1.2 Operating instructions
Once the burner is installed and correctly adjusted, its operation
is fully automatic without requiring any control by the user. In
case of anomalies or no fuel, the burner stops and shuts down
(red indicator on reset button lit).
Make sure the room where the burner is installed is free of
flammable materials or objects, corrosive gases and volatile
substances, and that it is not dusty. In fact, dust drawn by the
fan sticks to the blades and reduces the air flow or obstructs the
flame stability disk, affecting its efficiency.
Do not allow unskilled persons or children to tamper with the burner.
1.3 Maintenance
Service the burner periodically, at least once a year. Servicing must be performed by qualified personnel
as described in section 3.
1.4 Faults
If the burner fails to start and the red indicator on the reset button is not lit, check that it is powered,
the heating system switch is turned on, the fuses are efficient and that there is a boiler heat demand.
If the burner has shut down (red indicator on the reset button lit), wait 15 seconds and press the reset
button to restore operation. The burner will try to ignite. If it shuts down again, make sure there is fuel
and that the manual valves on the gas supply pipe are open. If these checks are negative, contact the
after-sales service.
In case of abnormal noises during burner operation, contact the after-sales service.
