ERA-GLONASS System (if available)
In an emergency, the
ERA-GLONASS System
can be used to localise the
vehicle and make an emergency call to the emergency services.
The
ERA-GLONASS System
consists of the following components:

Manual activation button

Control LEDs

RESET button

Microphone
●
Speaker
●
GSM antenna
●
GPS antenna
●
Telecommunication Control Unit (TCU)
When the ERA-GLONASS System is activated, this triggers a phone
call and sends the information needed to identify the vehicle and the
geolocalisation coordinates.
The system can be activated in two ways:

Automatic
: if there is a collision and the airbags intervene, the
system is automatically activated;
●
Manual
: to activate the
ERA-GLONASS System
, open the flap on
the dome light (with an “SOS” pictogram) by pressing lightly on the
flap, then hold down the red button

After KEY-ON, the system automatically checks the status and gives
visual feedback indicated by the frequency and colour of the LEDs, as
shown below:

: operating correctly; call not active.
RED LED

: briefly (6 seconds) at each key-on and permanently on if
there is a system failure and/or anomaly.
After manual or automatic activation, you can check the state of the call
as follows:

FLASHING (1 Hz)
: attempt to call in progress.
GREEN LED

FLASHING (2 Hz)
: sending of “Minimum Set of Data”
(MSD) in progress. The system transmits information on the collision,
