Media mode
The desired CD, microdrive/memory
card, source or the directory will be
called up and if available, the track on
the CD or in the directory will be
displayed.

Select the desired track by turning the
turn/push control
and pressing the
turn/push control
.
The selected track will be played.
Media status display
The media status display is the default
display for audio operation. All data
relevant to audio operation will be
displayed in the status display.
The following will be displayed:
• Type of (CD, CD-changer and
microdrive/memory card).
• Type of track (Audio or MP3)
• Status of the playback function, track
mix etc.
• Next and previous title
• Playback time
You see here the status display for MP3
tracks on a memory card as an example.
Note:
If the last title on a CD or a directory is
played, the Infotainment will play the
first track of the next directory or the
next CD, if possible. Should no further
tracks be available then the first track of
the current directory or CD will be
played.

Note:
By extended pressing of the
button you can have the entire name
displayed for the track entries in the
quick access (if available).
In addition, track number and track
length will be displayed.
As an additional piece of information,
the type of media where the current
track is located will be indicated. If a
CD name or directory name is
available, then this will be displayed.
In addition, the total number of tracks
on the CD or directory and the total
playback time will be indicated.
The track length of tracks not played
back this far will be estimated on the
basis of 128 kbit/s.
