Cleaning and Maintenance
Servicing and Maintenance Schedule
It is recommended to set up and follow a routine maintenance schedule at regular
intervals, which should be carried out at least once a year.
The table below represents recommended minimum intervals for such maintenance as
well as recommended intervals for cleaning, disinfecting and general inspection.
Ensure to keep service records. A sample maintenance record sheet is provided at the
end of this manual, which can be used to log each maintenance service.
When documented service can be shown to have been followed and an audit trail
implemented, your organisation will be demonstrating a commitment to patient safety and
safety procedures.
This Service Schedule has been created to provide protection for the patient and users of
this equipment.
