EX 200™ TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Power Supply
Input Voltage – selectable by jumper plug: 102 – 132 Vac or 204 – 264 Vac, 50/60 Hz
Maximum Power Consumption: 60 watts
Standby Operation: 24-hour minimum
AC Power Switch: Circuit breaker located on PCB
Inputs
Two Explosion Detection Circuits
Wiring: Class A or Class B, programmable
Logical AND or OR programmable operation: AND requires that both inputs detect
an incipient explosion before isolation operations are initiated; OR initiates
explosion suppression operations if either input detects an incipient explosion.
Supervision: if an open, short or FAB-3 trouble (if so programmed) is detected, the
control panel will indicate a Trouble condition. If AND logic is programmed, the
control panel will ignore the compromised circuit, monitor the other circuit, and
initiate explosion suppression operations if an incipient explosion is detected.
Compatible with the following detectors:
FENWAL static pressure (FSS P/N 32-090018-014)
MEX-3 dynamic pressure (FSS P/N 47-110004-001) through FAB-3 field
connection box (FSS P/N 47-110005-001)
UV/IR flame (FSS P/N 10-800020-001)
IR spark: IR-13 (FSS P/N 47-110020-00X) and IR-23 (FSS P/N 47-110021-001)
Also compatible with the detectors shown on the system design drawings.
One Vent/HRD Low Pressure Switch/Manual Pull Station monitoring circuit
Monitors the status of one Explosion Vent and/or up to twelve Low Bottle Pressure
switches simultaneously. It may also be used to incorporate a manual pull station.
Firewolf™ and FAB-13 Supervision
Supervised circuit detects and indicates trouble conditions on systems that utilize
motor operated Firewolf™ HRD extinguishers.
Remote
Arm/Disarm
Two-terminal loop permits EX 200™ to be armed and disarmed remotely.
Remote
Interlock
Two-terminal loop permits safe entrance into protected areas. Upon entry into a
protected vessel, interlock switch on access door breaks the HRD extinguisher
actuator circuit.
Resistor
Bypass
External jumper permits internal EED circuit current-limiting resistor to be bypassed
when required.
