* The ‘led control’ is operative only in counting modes that do not 

display seconds or tenths of second. It flashes ‘on’ and ‘off’ at a rate 

of  1  second  when  instrument  is  counting  (‘start’).  It  remains  ‘off’ 

when the instrument is not counting (’stop’).
