Assembly and Wiring
The Reader is designed for an office environment. It can be wall-mounted, in this case the wall-
mount kit should be ordered separately.

Notes:
•
The distance between two readers of the same type should not fall below 4m.
•
Before any installation the intended position of the reader should be tested for ist suit-
ability.
•
Only ID ISC.PR100:
The reader must not be installed directly upon conductive materials as e.g. metal sur-
faces, metal grids (reinforcements) or metallized surfaces, as these surfaces reduce the
detection range of the reader. The distance between the reader and such surfaces
should be min. 10 cm.
9.3. Power and interface terminal X2
A 9-pin D-sub female socket is located on the circuit board for connecting the supply voltage and
asynchronous interface. See also
