10.3. Supply voltage
The supply voltage (230VAC / 50Hz or. 115VAC / 60 Hz) has to be connected to the terminals L
and N of the power unit.
The unit has been preset by the manufacturer to a supply voltage of 230V / 50 Hz. The slide switch
on the power supply unit DPR-60 provides the possibility to switch to a distribution voltage of 115V/
60 Hz.
The power supply line has to be layed separately to the other access lines, as well as outside the
enclosure.

To meet national requirements for radio frequency devices the power supply line must
be fitted with the supplied EMC ring core

be wound around the ring core for at least 6 turns. The distance between the Reader
termination and the ring core should be maximum 10 cm.

The 24V-Output of the internal power supply unit may not be used for the supply of ex-
ternal circuits
Protection ground connection:
To form the protection ground connection the corresponding green/yellow lead
on the feed line (1) must be crimped together with the preassembled
green/yellow line (2) in one of the supplied duo wire end ferrules. The connection
is then made at the corresponding protection ground terminal of the power sup-
ply.
