A CC-M with built-in microprocessor is capable of easily materializing various advance controls by
its abundant wafers. This section describes overview of advance controls, i.e., variable gain control,
feed forward control and dead time control as well as wafer wire connection.
5.1 Selective control (auto selector)
- Case of tank flow rate and liquid level control -
Figure 5-1
In case of control of the outflow rate for a tank, to keep the flow rate at a fixed level is the prime
objective. But the liquid level should be kept in a certain range or less, on the other hand. In such a
case, selective control (auto selector) of flow rate and liquid level is executed. Flow rate control to
keep the outflow rate at a fixed level is selected in the normal state. But when the liquid level is
deviated from a fixed range due to reduction of tank inflow rate, liquid level control is automatically
selected balancelessly and bumplessly.
