Locking the articulation
Before lifting the roller the steering joint must be
locked to prevent it turning. Before lifting the roller the steering joint must be
locked to prevent it turning.
Turn the steering wheel to the straight ahead position.
Switch off the machine and activate the parking brake.
Pull down the galvanized lock bar (1) from its holder
(3), and place it from underneath in the hole on the
lower steering joint bracket. Press the bar through until
the upper end is visible in the hole on the upper
steering joint bracket.
Secure the bar with the lock pin (2).
