To gain access to the radiator cap, air cleaner, horn etc.
• Pull the knob provided at the side of panel support
and raise.
• In case of emergency, pull the cable shown in figure
1A to open the front bonnet.
Figure '2' - Front Grille
For additional access to the horn (where fitted), air
cleaner, radiator matrix and grille mounted headlamps
(where fitted), remove the front grille. The grille hooks
into slots in the side panels. To remove, lift the grille up
and forward, as shown. If grille- mounted head lamps
are installed, disconnected the cables from the rear of
the lights or from the harness connector, as necessary.
Refer Figure 2.
EVERY 10 HOURS or DAILY (whichever occurs
first) carry out the following checks:
Operation 1 - Engine Oil Level
Before checking the oil level, stop the engine and wait
for a short period to allow the oil to drain back into the
sump. Check the oil level by means of the dipstick.
(Refer Figure 3) If necessary, remove the filler plug
and top up with fresh oil to the upper mark on the
dipstick. Do not overfill, if oil level on dipstick is
between “Add” and “Max” marks, there is no need to
top up. Add oil when level comes to near “Add” mark.
