PAIRING REMOTE RECEIVER & TRANSMITTER FOR FAN OPERATION

To prevent potential communication interference between multiple devices within a close proximity,

remote transmitter (handset) for this ceiling fan incorporates DIP switches for setting individual
Identity (ID) Code for each set of radio frequency remote controller. DIP switches are located inside

battery compartment of remote handset. The DIP switch setting is user changeable by sliding code

switches to your choice of ON or OFF position. Slide each switch firmly UP or DOWN. The code
switches can be set to one of the sixteen (16) possible code combinations:

A remote receiver must undergo an “ID code learning” process before it recognises and is able to

communicate with remote transmitter but this process had been completed in factory so you can start
using the remote controller once electrical installation is complete.

However, you will be required to perform an “ID code learning” process manually if:

Your remote controller is not responding or if you are getting a new replacement for
transmitter/receiver.

You have 2 or more ceiling fans of the same model in one or nearby location, and you wish to

be able to control each fan independently without affecting operation of the other fans.

You have 2 or more ceiling fans of the same model and you wish to control by one remote
handset.

To perform an ID code learning process manually, follow instructions on next page:
