Operation
While the pump is running, the pool water temperature is displayed.
Pool water temperature set point :
The following operations may be done while the pump is on or off.
1.
To view the temperature set point, press briefly the
or
arrows, the set point value appears. The display
returns to normal after 5 seconds.
2.
To modify the temperature set point, press the arrows
or
and maintain till the temperature displayed
starts to blink, then release, and use the arrows
or
to select the desired temperature
Verifications prior to use
1.
Check the device has been installed, connected and wired in according to the instructions and diagrams
included with this document.
2.
Check the wiring according to the wiring diagram, and check that the heat pump has been properly earthed.
3.
Make sure that the On/Off switch is set to Off.
4.
Check the temperature set point.
5.
Check that air can circulate freely around the inlets and outlets.
Start up
6.
Make sure that the filtration pump is running before you start up the heat pump.
7.
With the filtration pump running, check for leaks, set the temperature set point and start up the heat pump.
8.
When the heat pump starts up, the fan switches on immediately. The compressor comes on after a timed
delay.
9.
With the heat pump running, listen for abnormal noises.
Precautions
Caution
1.
Choose a comfortable temperature set point, not too hot and not too cold.
2.
Be careful not to block the air flow around the inlets and outlets, this could decrease the efficiency of the heat
pump or even cause it to shut down.
3.
Never put your hands in the heat pump inlets or outlet, never remove the grill from the fan.
4.
In the event of abnormal noise, odours or smoke, stop the heat pump immediately and contact your sales
agent. Never try to repair the heat pump yourself.
5.
Never use or store inflammable materials near to the heat pump.
6.
For optimal heating effect, make sure that the pipes between the heat pump and the pool are thermally
insulated. During the pool season, the pool should be covered with an isothermal cover while it is not in use.
