Do not leave the hob unattended when cooking with
fat or oil, as these may catch fi re. NEVER try to put out the fi re with
water. Unplug the appliance and cover the fl ames with a lid or a
fi reproof blanket.

• The appliance is not designed to work with an external timer
switch or remote control system.

Electric models:
To switch off the appliance, press (
) for two
seconds. You will hear a long beep and the digit will switch off,
showing that the appliance is now off.
Models with knobs:
To turn off the appliance, move the regulator
to position “0”.
• Avoid knocking receptacles against the glass.
• The heat elements should not be operated without a receptacle.
• Only use the appliance for cooking food. Do not use the hob as a
worktop.
• Do not apply cold water directly onto the hob when it is hot.
